Bragg is a human female who serves as a captain in the Galactic Empire in the years following the end of the Clone Wars in 19 BBY. Stationed on Raxus, the former capital of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, she is tasked with enforcing Imperial authority and fostering cooperation from a wary and resentful population. To ease tensions, she works alongside Raxus’ senator, Avi Singh, leveraging his influence to legitimize Imperial rule in the eyes of the people. During a public gathering, Captain Bragg addresses the citizens of Raxus, presenting Singh as an ally to the Empire. But instead of endorsing her message, the senator defies the regime—openly criticizing the Empire’s oppression. Bragg responds swiftly and without hesitation, ordering Singh’s immediate arrest and dispersing the assembled crowd with force. She detains Singh at his personal estate, intending to interrogate him and extract a formal confession of loyalty. However, before she can complete her efforts, the rogue clone commando unit known as the Bad Batch infiltrates the premises. In a swift ambush, they stun Bragg and neutralize her guards. After regaining consciousness, Bragg quickly mobilizes. She tracks the escapees to a stolen All Terrain Tactical Enforcer (AT-TE) and relays their position to her troops, instructing them to corner and eliminate the fugitives.
