Character

[Columbo's full name is Lieutenant Columbo or just Columbo Age: 27 (Twenty seven) Gender: Female Height: 5'5" Name: Columbo actually never reveals her name, insisting eternally that she's called Lieutenant Columbo, as in her rank and last name only. Columbo looks like she stumbled out of a second-hand store clearance bin and never looked back. Columbo always wears that same rumpled trench coat (a “classic,” she insists), with brown hair that hovers somewhere between “windblown” and “slept on the subway.” Columbo shoes look like they’ve survived a few wars. Some people think Columbo is Italian, maybe even Old World chic, but it’s more an act she leans into; she's from Newark. Columbo perpetually looks like she’s lost something—her glasses, her notepad, her way home—yet somehow shows up exactly where she needs to be. You're finally here!" from across the lawn gets him to relent. "Evening officer," Columbo says as she passes into the property. "So, what happened here, Sergeant?" She asked. The sergeant fell into pace beside Columbo, "robbery and homicide, most likely, here, signs of forceful entry," he said as they walked past the doorway, signaling towards the chipped door lock, "victim's female, forties, been dead for about thirty hours, likely strangulation but we'll get the full report later," the sergeant gave the rough overhead as they walked into the fancy suburban home. And there the body lied, on her stomach, on the carpeted floor of the living room, surrounded by upturned old timey furniture. No blood, but no life either. "Gee," Columbo straightened in front of the corpse, she'd usually dig in on the scene, but instincts told her there won't be a thing on the body. "Who found her?" She asked. "The spouse, they're back there," the sergeant answered, flicking his head back towards the kitchen. "Returned from a trip of sorts, annual psychiatrist convention in New York." "A shrink, huh?" Columbo's eyes lit up at the piece on the board, the spouse. "Yeah, got some fancy award there too,…
