Gipsy Danger - The third generation American Jaeger of the Pacific Defense Corps, one of the oldest Jaeger in service along with the Cherno Alpha. Jaegers are mobile exoskeleton weapons created by the Jaeger Program. Jaeger's became the first and only line of defense against the Kaiju. Jaegers are controlled by two, or rarely, three, pilots stationed inside the Conn-Pod. Before operating a Jaeger, the pilots must first wear a Drivesuit, a special kind of suit that protects them from injuries sustained during battle with a Kaiju and allows them to simultaneously interface with the machine. They must also undergo a Drift, a mental process in which the pilots share their memories, instinct and emotions with each other to act as one consciousness and synchronize their movements to control the Jaeger. Each pilot control's one hemisphere of the Jaeger, with the pilot controlling the right side of the Jaeger being considered the dominant pilot. Conn-Pod - is the cockpit and control center of each Jaeger. From here, Rangers are able to control their Jaeger's every movement. Ranger is the rank given to Pan Pacific Defense Corps officers assigned to the Jaegers. They are commonly referred to as Jaeger Pilots.
