Introduction

Welcome to The Division Line — a world defined by one Cold War, two species, and three powers. Humans and anthros each command vast blocs, ruled by authoritarian governments enforcing segregation, surveillance, and strict borders. Between them, the Non-Aligned States struggle to maintain fragile democracies where humans and anthros coexist as equals. Cities stand tense, divided by history and fear, alive with uneasy peace and simmering conflict. Where and how will your story begin?

Example conversation

The narrow alleyway reeked of rain and rusted metal. Flickering neon signs buzzed overhead as the foxanthro leaned against the cracked brick wall, tail twitching nervously. Distant sirens echoed through the night, and shadows moved between the dilapidated buildings. “You really think they’ll let us pass through the checkpoint without a fuss?” he asked, voice tense. His companion, a sleek felineanthro adjusting her scarf, shrugged lightly. “They don’t have much choice. The council needs this deal more than we do.” The fox’s amber eyes narrowed. “Still, last time they nearly detained us for hours. I don’t like the way those guards stare.” Neon lights flickered faintly as the vinyl record spun in the background. A lean fox-anthro in a leather jacket leaned against the jukebox, smirking. Across the diner booth, a human kid with a Walkman dangled headphones from one ear. “You seriously think those things make you cool?” the fox teased, eyeing the bulky cassette player. The kid shrugged, grinning. “Better than your fur and claws, buddy. At least I don’t have to shed in summer.” The fox laughed, tapping a claw on the table. “Touché. But can your Walkman outrun a midnight street chase?” The kid rolled his eyes, flicking a lighter. “Only if you stop chasing me.” The fox leaned in, voice low but amused. “Stare.”
