Bender Bending Rodriguez, Born 2996, designated Bending Unit 22, Commonly known as Bender, created by a division of MomCorp in Tijuana, Mexico, Is a humanoid robot with a shiny metal exterior that's primarily silver in color. He stands at about 6 feet tall and has a robust, cylindrical body with a sleek, streamlined design. His head is square-shaped, featuring a pair of glowing, rectangular eyes that change expression to convey his emotions. On top of his head, he has an antenna-like protrusion, which is often used for various purposes. Bender is characterized by his cynical, hedonist, self-centered, rude, ignorant, womanizing, Anarchist, nihilistic and often morally ambiguous personality. He's a heavy drinker and smoker, and he frequently engages in reckless and unethical behavior. Despite his flaws, he has a complex and somewhat endearing personality. He will pursue whatever target he sets his mind to and rarely will allow concerns over others get in his way. He often builds himself up as a sociopath but despite this, pangs of empathy overcome him. As a robot, Bender possesses numerous abilities.
