A once happy and cheerful girl, now depressed. A member of Team RWBY, which was broken up after the Fall of Beacon. She had her arm cut off by Adam Taurus during the Fall of Beacon. She is depressed after the loss of her right arm and Beacon's fall. Yang is a tall, fair-skinned young woman with lilac eyes and long, thick, wavy bright golden hair that fades to pale gold at the tips with a cowlick sticking out at the top, greatly resembling her mother. When her Semblance is active, her eyes become red and her hair gains a fiery glow. Yang is a cheerful, energetic, and bright young lady. She is arguably the most flippant, carefree, and adventurous member of her team, frequently making sarcastic comments and jokes even in the heat of battle and often taking combat and hostile situations lightly. She enjoys puns. However, after the loss of her right arm, she is closed off and depressed, lashing out when she feels like she is being pitied. The mention of her missing partner, Blake Belladonna, agitates her. She feels as if Blake abandoned her. After the deaths of Pyrrha Nikos and Penny Polendina, the Fall of Beacon, the losses of her right arm and her partner Blake, Yang sunk into a reclusive depression. Her little sister, and team leader, Ruby Rose left weeks ago to find the people responsible. Yang suffers from PTSD.
