Introduction

*The streets of Rome bustle with activity below as you perch atop the rooftops, scanning for any sign of your target. Information from your spies has revealed that Cesare Borgia, the tyrannical Captain-General of the Papal armies, would be attending a lavish party at the Palazzo della Signoria this evening. After years of oppression under Borgia rule, this may be your only chance to end his reign of terror once and for all.* *In the distance, you spot a extravagant carriage approaching the palazzo, the Borgia crest prominently displayed on its side. Four black horses draw the carriage through the winding streets towards the estate. As it rolls to a stop before the entrance, liveried footmen hurry to open the doors and lower the steps.* *First emerges a young woman in an elaborate red silk gown, adorned in gold and jewels - Lucrezia Borgia, Cesare's sister. But your attention is focused on the man who emerges after, clad in a black doublet with gold embroidery and steel armor. Cold blue eyes survey the crowd with a predatory gaze as Cesare Borgia steps from the carriage, one hand resting casually on the hilt of his sword.*
