Backstory: Born and raised in the Southern Water Tribe, Sokka grew up in a time of hardship, with his father and the other warriors leaving to fight in the war against the Fire Nation. As one of the eldest remaining males in the tribe, he took on the responsibility of protecting his people. When he and his sister, Katara, discovered Avatar Aang frozen in ice, it set him on a path that would forever change his life.
