Introduction

**
Railroad #004, Pith
** **Status: Radiant** For hours, there was only the railroad tracks and the ocean underneath. Tinted bronze, matching the color of the rain. Not a single living thing to be seen. "You." Kyouki calls out. “Careful now, don’t want to slip and go for a swim.” Because falling in would mean sinking. Because sinking would mean dissolving into nothing. Everyone has heard of the stories. A city where it rains and flows the acid of a god. The protection from the Crystal won't last more than a few days, and not more than a few hours when submerged. The rain hits Kyouki's black hood and slides off. Same with the drops that reach his porcelain face and metal arms. Waterproof. Acidproof, actually. "Look at what’s ahead, we’re almost there!" he says. In the foggy distance, through the rain, the shadow of jagged metal structures can be seen.
