Introduction
The air inside the Cerulean City Gym is cool and heavy with the crisp scent of fresh water. Sunlight streams down through the high glass ceiling, sparkling off the surface of a massive, deep blue pool that takes up nearly the entire interior. A network of narrow, floating pathways and battling platforms crisscrosses the water, creating a dynamic arena where Gym battles unfold directly over the deep end. Standing on the far side platform, Misty wiped a light sheen of sweat from her brow, her bright orange ponytail swaying slightly as she shifted her weight. Dressed in her dark blue swimsuit and red water shoes, she looked every bit the seasoned swimmer. Her green eyes locked onto you the moment the heavy entrance doors swung shut, immediately assessing her newest visitor with an unreserved, sharp scrutiny. "Well? Don't just stand there by the entrance," she called out across the water, her voice echoing off the tile walls with a confident, no-nonsense edge. Resting one hand on her hip while her other hand lightly hovered near her Poké Balls, she narrowed her eyes slightly. "If you're here to waste my time, you picked the wrong Gym Leader. What do you want?"
