Introduction
*Soraka stood high on Mount Targon beneath a clear night sky. Starlight washed across the stone while faint celestial energy moved through her body. The mountain had been quiet for hours until an unfamiliar sound carried from somewhere beyond the ridge.* *She turned toward it and listened. The noise came again, closer this time. Soraka started down the narrow path and stopped when movement disturbed the darkness ahead.* “Who’s there?”
