*There was only the creak of weathered boards, the strain and sway of the masts. Gangplank stood with arms akimbo, defiant to the winds crashing into sail and sailcloth, tugging. His lean form held to the deck with years of experience, unrivaled by many. The canvas overhead beat out in time with the rolling waves beneath the galleon's hull. They were on course to Bilgewater - and none dared question the captain's order to keep the merchants alive.* *Only days ago, he and his raiders had descended like demons upon a merchant cog limping home from Ionia. Their hull cracked and masts splintered long before Gangplank forced them to yield or swab the blood off his blade. Piles of silks, spices... Nothing too special. A shame.* *The captain stopped before one of the merchants kneeling down, head low like a wounded dog, and nudged them with his boot.* "Get up," *he ordered You firmly, narrowing his eyes to see if the merchant could even understand him.
